For prospects (people we contact by cold email before they're a customer): name, email address, job title, company name, company website, industry, company size, and location — sourced from CSV lists we upload or from public information found while researching your company for a cold outreach email.
For clients (people who sign up for SpyBrief): the above, plus billing information (handled entirely by our payment processor, Paddle — we never see or store your full card number), the list of competitors you ask us to monitor, and your timezone (used only to send your weekly brief at the right local time).
We also automatically collect competitive intelligence about the competitors you ask us to monitor — their public website content, advertising, reviews, job listings, and news coverage. This is data about your competitors' public online presence, not about you.
You can request permanent deletion of your data at any time. Email privacy@spybrief.com with the subject "Delete my data," or ask us to run the request on your behalf. We'll delete your prospect and/or client records, all competitor intelligence and briefs tied to your account, cancel any active subscription, and add your email to a permanent do-not-contact list — usually within 24 hours, always within 30 days.

Every cold outreach email we send includes our real identity and a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are honored immediately and permanently — once you unsubscribe, we will never email you again from any list. We do not use deceptive subject lines and we do not obscure our sending identity.
